Liam leads Mainstream’s project development activities in Africa focused on new markets in developing countries and in particular, Ghana. He is actively involved in the 225MW Ayitepa wind farm project, the first utility-scale wind project in Ghana that will provide 5% of the country’s electricity needs. Simultaneous, Liam supports Mainstreams Business Plan to deliver renewable energy into Africa in the next five years. Liam also leads on Mainstream Renewable Power’s off grid development focusing on Sub Saharan Africa. Through strategic partnerships, Mainstream aims to advance the renewable energy market to make a significant impact on renewable energy target and electrification rates over the coming years.
Liam has over 9 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector and has worked on over 8GW of renewable energy projects including one of the largest offshore wind farm projects in the world.
